We are excited to announce the launch of Memory Capsules — one of the most requested features since Lasting Bound first launched. Memory Capsules let you bundle photos, videos, audio, and text into a single collection and lock it until a date you choose.

What Is a Memory Capsule?

A Memory Capsule is a time-locked collection of memories. You gather everything you want to include — a series of photos from a trip, a video message, a letter, a playlist — and set a date when the capsule should be opened. On that date, your chosen recipients receive access to everything inside.

How People Are Using Them

Parents are creating capsules for their children to open on their eighteenth birthday. Couples are building anniversary capsules filled with photos from each year of their marriage. Grandparents are recording messages to be opened when a grandchild graduates. The possibilities are as personal as the people who create them.

How to Create Your First Capsule

From your dashboard, navigate to Memory Capsules and tap "Create New Capsule." Give it a title, add your content, choose your recipients, and set the unlock date. That is it. Your capsule is sealed and will be waiting on the date you set — no matter what.
